Desh Foundation UK had a very successful press launch on 28th February 2017 for British Bangladeshi Business Awards 2017. The event was held at Holiday inn, east London and was attended by prominent media person and dignitaries including, press minister, Bangladesh High commission London Nadeem Qadir,General manager Biman Bangladesh airlines UK Mohammed Shafiqul Islam,Managing Director Ranju Miah,President of London Bangla press club Syed Nahas Pasha,CEO of ATN Bangla UK Hafiz Alam Bakhsh,Politician Mina Rahman, Showmi Das, Urmi mazhar, Syed Anas Pasha, Barrister Monwar Hossain, Abdul Karim Nazim, Mohammed Nazimuddin, Najim Chowdhury, Nazinur Rahim, Luthfur Rahman Syed, Goyasur Rahman, Jahangir Firoz, Dulal Ahmed, Yawar Khan, Mohammed Jubair, Hefazul Karim Rakib.

This event was made succesfull by immense contribution of Desh Foundation team members Foyez Ahmed, Kamal Ahmed,Ashraf Ahmed, ZA Ahmed, Abhinav Dubey, Golap Miah, Nasir Ahmed Shamol, Arzoo Miah, Shazia Snigdha, Jamal Khan, Wasimuzzaman, Foysal Ahmed Munna, Ferdous Meah, Syed Sadek Ahmed, Bahar Uddin, Mohammed Taj Uddin, Sham Uddin, Atikur Rahman.

It was great to see so many people appreciate the efforts of DESH foundation in organizing this award and provide exposure to the Bangladeshi community entrepreneurs who contribute tremendously to their local economy and the UK economy in general. The tremendous contribution of over half a million People of Bangladeshi origin in UK is acknowledged and celebrated by DESH Foundation UK. We thank all the guests who attended the press launch and appreciated our efforts and praised the chairman Mr. Misbaur Rahman for his work towards the community.

The awards are due to be held on 14th May 2017 at new Bingley hall, Birmingham. The last days for nominations are 31st March 2017.
