It is my great privilege and honour to be part of the Desh Foundation UK team and to have contributed in organising the 3rd BBBAwards in 2019. Over the last decade our organisation had the pleasure in recognising the success and achievements of British Bangladeshis in the UK and abroad and it is my view even greater exposure is needed. Our goal for the future is to continue working with business leaders, entrepreneurs from our community and hope to support the younger generation to enhance their relations and promote their individual talents, expertise to the wider audience.

It has certainly been a pleasure and to play an important role in organising the 3rd British Bangladeshi Business Awards (BBBAwards) has been a great honour. For over a decade Desh Foundation UK has been part of the Bangladeshi community here in the UK but has also been serving the community abroad in Bangladesh and being engaged in both is challenging but also rewarding.

Desh Foundation UK and the BBBAwards has always been a platform for serving the interest of British Bangladeshi’s and we are the only organisation to do this in the UK. 10 years is a great achievement for us and a shining success! Over the years on what has been achieved Desh Foundation UK has grown internally as an organisation. Our business network and community partnerships is now substantial and the professionals in our organisation have the knowledge base that excels in many business sectors of our community and the wider community.

We have progressed in numerous ways being recognised and acknowledged for our work by Government, growing our Business Consultancy reach and looking into the future moving into organising Trade Exhibitions, Incentive Travel and Corporate Study Tours. Forward thinking our aim is to focus our services for the diverse business communities which is essential to our business and community goals.

It is an immense pleasure for me to be a part of Desh Foundation UK. I have been involved with the organization for about 5 years and have been greatly involved with the type of work it does. As being one of the Directors of Desh Foundation UK , I take pride in community work as recognizing the talents and gems of the community is an integral part of the Desh Foundation UK.

As the youngest Director, I shout out to all the young entrepreneurs to be a part of the community and take part in positive change for the society. Being part of the British Bangladeshi Business Awards, it gives me a platform to contribute to the community and the society by recognizing the talents that played a vital role to the British economy. I wish all the best to the previous winners and also seek encouragement so that me and my team can bring different productive projects and events in the future.
